This is the third part of a series showing details of travel times in the Bathurst and Dufferin corridors.
For introductory remarks and a discussion of general issues, please refer to Part I.
The main part of this article contains the charts for the streetcar service on 511 Bathurst. Note that data for any bus extras has been omitted from these charts to ensure a presentation of streetcar-only speeds. Data from October 2024 and July 2025 are shown here to be outside of the period when the line was rerouted around construction at Fleet and Bathurst with buses operating a south-end shuttle service.

Travel Times
Travel times on the Bathurst car near King Street both ways were affected from time to time by Ontario Line construction that slowed service. There were also a few major delays, but these are not reflected in the speed charts because cars were stationary until the delay cleared. Those that diverted around the incidents were not included in the speed data for trips on Bathurst Street itself.

Travel Speeds
For the most part, the trend lines for October 2024 and July 2025 data lie close together. Travel speeds are also similar with a few notable exceptions:
- Northbound travel approaching Dundas Street suffered delays from a long-running construction project during 2024.
- Southbound service ran slower through Exhibition Loop in 2025 than 2024 probably due to a slow order.
During both months, chronically slow operation is evident on Fleet Street near Strachan likely due to unfavourable traffic signals. Another slow area is on Bathurst southbound from Front Street.

By 8-9am, the trend lines for speeds both ways have settled down to the 10-12km/hr range over much of the route. There are areas of faster operation between Dundas and Robinson southbound, and from College to Ulster northbound. Both areas have relatively wide stop spacings, and little opportunity for conflicting traffic.

Through the afternoon the speed northbound to Harbord gradually worsens.

By 8-9pm, travel speeds have improved slightly, but there is no a “bounce back” of evening travel times comparable to those on the Bathurst and Dufferin bus routes. The section from Dundas to south of King can also be affected by traffic in the Entertainment District.
