Interesting to see a photo here showing the pre-grand union state of Spadina and King with no continuous north to south overhead. Were the other proposed grand unions along Spadina cut early in the process or did that come later? Perhaps after the costs of the undersized Spadina loop started creeping up?
Steve: There was never a grand union proposed at Dundas or at College. Nothing was cut as far as I know.
