This view looks east at the culvert. Note that there is a sidewalk space on the bridge, but there is not room to widen the bridge out to six lanes. Pedestrian traffic would have to be shifted down to the bike lane area. The essential problem is that there is no designated pedestrian way here, although some pedestrians do use it (clearly shown by the worn path).
